Ford automaker manufacture has announced new series racing Ford Fiestas Custom at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Motor Show 2010, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center between November 2 and 5. Ford Custom Accessories offers a wide range of options for both the interior and exterior while Ford Racing Performance will showcase a tuned fiesta pumping 350 HP from a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine that has been enlarged to 2.3-litres.
“SEMA offers the perfect opportunity to showcase all the different ways the personalities of the Fiesta can be expressed,” said Sam De La Garza, Fiesta brand manager.
Automotive school Universal Technical Institute (UTI) will also display a vehicle with a custom DuPont paint job, an Air Lift suspension, Baer brakes and 18-inch wheels. Inside, the concept boasts Status racing seats and a roll cage. On the other hand, 3dCarbon’s Euro Series Fiesta boasts an aggressive body kit which consists of new bumpers and aerodynamic side skirts. Other goodies include racing stripes, tinted windows and a roof-mounted spoiler.
L&G Enterprises goes for a high-tech appearance with “circuit board-inspired” exterior graphics, a lowered suspension, and a new exhaust. Interior highlights include carbon fiber trim and an integrated iPad command center. The H&R Springs Fiesta has a color-matched body kit, hood vents and a full graphics wrap.
Melvin Betancourt, Ford specialty design manager said “The Fiesta is one of those vehicles that resonates with everybody – especially with the younger market. Whatever you’re into, it works,” and “It lends itself to a lot of different themes. It’s a perfect fit for the aftermarket and for customers who want to express their personality.”
