Mercedes-benz automotovie manufacturer with the partners Southern German specialist tuner Hamann Motorsport has unveiled new tuning program cars for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with new plumage and significantly sharper talons. The 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG Hamann Hawk by Hamann profile is dominated by black 21-inch wheels and side skirts. There is a large carbon fiber rear wing, while the same lightweight material used in new shoes. Restyled rear bumper diffuser and a quad exhaust that includes houses, completes the look.
The core part of the power enhancement for the Hamman Hawk is the high-performance exhaust system made out of titanium. In combination with new manifolds, sports catalysts and a sports air filter, this system also renders the earthy and powerful sound of the 6.2 litre aggregate. The components are precisely adjusted with the help of a new engine characteristic map for motor electronics. The interior, 2011 Mercedes SLS AMG Hamann Hawk by Hamann wearing combination suede and leather, and carbon fiber trim on the steering wheel, center console and door thresholds.
2011 Mercedes SLS AMG Hamann Hawk by Hamann 6.2-liter V8 engine gets a further 65 horses in total 636HP and a maximum torque of 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) at 4850 rpm. Extra power comes from high-performance titanium exhaust system, new manifolds, sport catalysts and a sport air filter. As a result, the higher speed limit plus 3 kmh to 320 km / h (199 mph), while Sprint 0-100 km / h (62 mph) takes just 3.6 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the standard All-New 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
Hammann Hawk uses the single part, especially light forged wheels “Unique Forged Anodized“ in 21 inches. These are fitted in 9Jx21 with tyres measuring 245/30 ZR 21 at the front and 12.5Jx21 with tyres measuring 345/25 ZR 21 at the rear axle. The coilover kit has been especially refined for the Hamman Hawk. Equipped with four height-adjustable dampers and four progressively wound springs, the centre of gravity can be lowered by up to 30 millimetres.
