Mercedes-Benz automaker manufacture wants unveiled 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class to the public and be Celebrating its world premiere at the 2010 Paris motor show. Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is a significant update of the automaker’s original four-door coupe and builds on the pioneering role of its predecessor with a fresh new interpretation.
Professor Gorden Wagener, head of design at Mercedes-Benz said “The new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class points the way forward for the future perceptible design idiom of Mercedes-Benz” and At the same time it takes its inspiration from the great tradition of stylish, refined sportiness which has always been a feature of Mercedes coupés.”
We can easily see the automaker’s Bentley-esque rear “hips” that take the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan’s look to a whole new level. A much flashier pair of taillights are easy to see as well. Up front Mercedes-Benz opted for full LED headlamps, the world’s first to offer the full range of turn signals, running lamps, low and high-beam functions purely from LEDs.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class with a new twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8, good for 435 horsepower and 513 lb-ft. of torque. Expect an AMG variant sporting the Bi-turbo 5.5-liter V8 to come in the relatively near future – boasting 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft. of torque.
The interior of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is also distinguished by a timeless design which combines discreet elegance with innovative details and handcrafted perfection. The eye-catching cockpit features a wrap-around dashboard sweeping from the driver’s door over the instrument panel support and across to the front passenger door. The central display has also been integrated seamlessly into the upper part of the instrument panel.
