Ford automaker manufacture has teamed up with Roush Industries and DUB magazine to create the new 2011 Mustang DUB Edition. Designed to appeal to a “new generation of buyers,” the DUB Edition features a Roush front fascia, rear quarter window covers, lowering springs, stripes, and 20-inch TIS wheels with Pirelli high performance tires. Inside, the special edition boasts a black interior with DUB embroidered front headrests.
Ford DUB Edition Power is provided by a 3.7-liter V6 with 305 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque. It is paired to a six-speed transmission (manual or a six speed automatic) and a rear axle with a 3.31 gear ratio.
According to Fritz Wilke, Mustang brand manager, “The Ford Mustang is the most customized vehicle in the world, and this collaboration pushes the boundaries even further. We’re proud of our relationship with DUB and Roush and how they worked together to bring a new look to Mustang, helping the 2011 DUB Edition Mustang V-6 appeal to a whole new audience.”
On sale this fall, the Mustang DUB Edition will be offered as a coupe, glass roof coupe, and convertible.
